The Kuumaarke Visionary Ground Set is a four-piece ground equipment set. It was rewarded to players who completed the "Heart of the Storm" Special Event which ran from May 10 to June 9, 2022 on PC. This set of ground gear, designed by the inimical mirror Kuumaarke, specializes in Kit Module combat. Powerful layered defenses free up the Personal Shield Generator to be weaponized, fueling tremendous bursts of Kit Performance and heavy area Electrical damage.

Game Description[ | ]
Little is known about the Kuumaarke of the mirror universe, and even less about the Lukari people there. This technology is at once impressive and distressing, soft-spoken and megalomaniacal. Each component is simple enough, but when combined they offer a new way of war: a battlefield dominated not by weapons, but by problem solving. Ad-hoc technical solutions favored by Starfleet are employed as a matter of course, and traditional force of arms takes a backseat to crushing displays of what is essentially realtime applied physics.
Kuumaarke's armor design is simple and effective. While unfit for mass deployment due to extravagant costs in exotic materials, it combines excellent protection, peerless insulation from stray electricity, and a massive array of backup capacitors designed to interface with a PSG. On command, these capacitors may be used to completely recover personal shields, albeit with a significant recharge time.

Kuumaarke's PSG employs her signature use of invulnerability barriers. When the shield falls during combat, whether due to enemy action or the user's own, a Micro-Generator Drone is deployed to provide an invulnerability field for 10 seconds, with a 60 second recharge. If a Micro-Generator Drone already exists, instead that drone's duration will be refreshed and it will be used to generate the invulnerability field. This reduces the recharge to 45 seconds.

Purely as a service weapon, this wrist device is only special in as much as it offers an Electrical damage option to Captains. It truly shines when combined with Kit Modules, which it drains the PSG of the wielder to empower to a ferocious degree -- and obliterate any foes foolish enough to challenge Kuumaarke's vision in melee.

Kuumaarke's Micro-Generator Drones produce a tremendous amount of power that can be used in a number of different ways. By default, they deal Electrical Damage to nearby Foes, and deal more Damage if the Foe has high Health. If a Micro-Generator Drone already exists when the Kit Module is activated, that drone will begin to use the Electrical attack and have its remaining duration extended, and the Kit Module's Recharge time will be reduced.
