Overview[]
The Vesta-class line of ships has already proven itself a capable and versatile vessel in many regards, which caused Starfleet Intelligence to take a keen interest in further developing and specializing some its well-known functionality for dangerous - and sometimes highly-classified - intelligence operations. The result of these developments is the updated Caelian-class, which can in many respects be seen as the pinnacle of its lineage.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Vesta Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer, 2,500 The Vesta-class is Starfleet's first Multi-Mission Explorer, entering the service in 2380. Since then, these ships have more than proven themselves in combat and exploration alike. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Aventine Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer, 2,500 Named after the Vesta-class vessel U.S.S. Aventine, the Aventine class has a sharper saucer and its pylons are angled forward - these features give the ship a more sleek profile than the original Vesta. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Rademaker Multi-Mission Strategic Explorer, 2,500 The Rademaker class is a loose hybrid between the Vesta and Aventine classes, sporting a more oval saucer and the largest nacelles. The shuttle bay launch area is wider and illuminated and appears to be covered by a force field. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Brigid Multi-Mission Surveillance Explorer, 3,000 The Brigid class draws upon the technological advancements that came from the Vesta-class Multi-Mission Explorer's development. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Palatine Multi-Mission Reconnaissance Explorer, 3,000 The Palatine class is a highly advanced Tactical-centric Science Vessel that was built upon the Aventine's success at combating the Borg and a multitude of other hostile forces. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Esquiline Multi-Mission Strategic Explorer, 3,000 The Esquiline class is built upon the tremendous success of the Rademaker-class Multi-Mission Vessels and carries on the tradition of being among the most technologically advanced starships in the fleet. |

Abilities[]
Universal consoles[]
The Legendary Caelian Intel Multi-Mission Explorer comes equipped with three pieces of the Alliance Multi-Mission Systems Set, which includes [Console - Universal - Omni-Directional Tachyon Wave Siphon], [Console - Universal - Isometric Dispersal Array], and [Console - Universal - Radiation Bombardment Matrix].
It can also equip (but does not come equipped with) the [Console - Universal - Protomatter Field Projector], from the Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel.
For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
The Legendary Caelian Intel Multi-Mission Explorer also comes equipped with the Experimental Systems Set, which includes [Console - Universal - Multidimensional Wave-Function Analysis Module], [Console - Universal - Quantum Field Focus Controller] and [Console - Universal - Sympathetic Fermion Transceiver].
All three consoles unlock the following active abilities:
Hangar Bay[]
The Legendary Caelian Intel Multi-Mission Explorer comes equipped with a single wing of Danube Runabouts.
These light crafts are equipped with Phaser Array and Micro Photon Torpedoes, with access to Tractor Beam I.
Advanced variants can be obtained from the Dilithium Store, while the Elite Yellowstone variant is obtainable from a Fleet Starbase with an unlocked Tier V Communications Array.
Carrier commands[]
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
Active Sensor Arrays
As an Intelligence starship, the Legendary Caelian Intel Multi-Mission Explorer is capable of deploying an Intel sensor drone with the Gather Intelligence ability.
While the target is Vulnerable, one of three Expose Vulnerability abilities can be used. These powerful abilities find a critical weakness in the targeted foe and allow players to briefly exploit it.
- Expose Vulnerability: Critical Systems
- Expose Vulnerability: Defenses
- Expose Vulnerability: Weapon Systems
Intelligence vessels also have a built-in passive ability which renders them undetectable at long range.
Cloak
The Legendary Caelian-class Intel Multi-Mission Explorer has a cloak that allows the ship to cloak when not in combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The Legendary Caelian-class Intel Multi-Mission Explorer comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Specialization seating
The Legendary Caelian-class Intel Multi-Mission Explorer features the following specialist seats:
- Commander Science/Intelligence
- Lieutenant Commander Universal/Intelligence

Hull strength[]
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (0.95 for the Legendary Caelian-class Intel Multi-Mission Explorer), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
