Overview[ | ]
The D7 is one of the most classic and recognizable visual designs still in use by the modern Klingon Empire. This venerable starship design has seen numerous refits and overhauls during its long life cycle since it was first introduced as the flagship of the unified Klingon Houses in the latter half of the 23rd Century. The most long-lived variant of the D7 was the K'tinga-class battlecruiser, and of that class there is no vessel more famous than Chancellor Gorkon's Qo'noS One. The Qo'noS One earned its distinctive livery over several decades of glorious campaigns, but it is most widely remembered for its role not in winning wars, but ending them in peace.
Modern D7 variants are typically more maneuverable than their Vor'cha counterparts, without sacrificing much in the way of resilience or versatility. Few can deny that the imposing and recognizable silhouette of a ship of this lineage can still strike fear into any adversaries foolish enough to end up at the wrong end of its considerable firepower.

Class | Information | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Purchasing the Legendary D7 Intel Battlecruiser for 12,000 unlocks all existing ship variants. | |||||
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The D7 class is a prime example of the classic Klingon cruiser design, having its warp nacelles on fixed pylons with a feather pattern, and a large spheroid forward section on a long neck. The D7 also includes 'D7 Beta' parts in the main hull section and nacelles. Main Hull D7 Beta adds impulse engines to the aft, and Nacelle D7 Beta adds glows on the inside of the nacelles. | |||||
SKIN UNLOCK: D7 Temporal Battlecruiser, 1 The D7 Refit is an intermediate step between the D7 Class Battlecruiser and the later K't'inga Class Battlecruiser, featuring details from both classes including hull paneling and visible impulse engines. It also has a green hull instead of the battleship grey of the original. The D7 Refit is based on the updated appearance of the I.K.S. Gr'oth in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode Trials and Tribble-ations. | |||||
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The K't'inga class was first introduced in the early 2270s, but despite the vessel's age its popularity among Klingon Defense Force officers remains strong. When compared to its predecessor, the K't'inga has a less bulbous forward section, more extensive external hull plating and differently-designed warp nacelles. | |||||
SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship Romulan D7 known as Khenn Cruisers were used by the Romulan Star Empire in the 23rd century, based on technology (including cloaking technology) acquired from the Klingons during their alliance in this time period. The Klingon Empire uses the same ship, also known as D7 class. The early variants had a large bird-of-prey design painted on the hull, identical to what was found on the Bird-of-Prey. Other variants had red and yellow feather-like detailing painted on the upper wing and nacelle pylon. The Romulan D7 also includes 'D7 Romulan Beta' and 'D7 Romulan Refit' parts in the main hull section. Main Hull 'D7 Romulan Beta' adds impulse engines to the aft, and 'D7 Romulan Refit' includes hull paneling and impulse engines. | |||||
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The aging K't'inga class was refitted near the turn of the 25th century, updating a classic design to more modern requirements. It features a standard Klingon design with fixed wings that lead to the nacelles at the aft section of the ship, a neck stem connected to the main hull and the bridge located towards the front. | |||||
SKIN UNLOCK: Koro't'inga Battlecruiser, 37,500 The Koro't'inga class is based on the original K't'inga class design and features a thinner neck with braces. The hull is also thinned out which is dissimilar to typical Klingon rugged designs. The Koro't'inga is clearly based on the unused D4 design that would have featured in early episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. | |||||
Gorkon's Qo'nos One variant |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship Klingon High Chancellor Gorkon was a legendary warrior in the Klingon Empire whose legacy reached far beyond the Empire’s borders. His flagship, the Qo’noS One, was a powerful K’t’inga-class battlecruiser decorated with filigree celebrating the many glorious campaigns won by Gorkon and his house. |
