Types of missions
- Defend
- Three repeatable deep space encounters in the named sector block.
- Explore
- Three randomly generated missions in a cluster or unexplored space outside of sector blocks. Repeatable.
- Fleet
- Repeatable "raid" type missions where higher contributions give higher rewards.
- Patrol
- Handcrafted non-repeatable missions where you patrol four systems in one sector.
- Storyline
- Handcrafted non-repeatable missions that introduce you to the overall story.
