Luna is Earth's sole natural satellite. It is heavily populated, to the extent that the majority of the surface is covered with a continguous belt of amalagated cities.
System description
A system with nine planets orbiting a G-class star, Sol is the heart of the Federation. Starfleet Command is located on Earth, the system's third planet, as is the seat of Federation government. The system is also home to Earth Spacedock and the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards on Mars.
Missions involved
- “Surface Tension”: In early 2410, the lunar colonies come under attack during the Undine invasion of the Sol System. The R.R.W. Lleiset drives off the Undine ships attacking Luna, and regroups with the player to save Earth Spacedock.
