The Mec System is a system located in the Orias Sector of the Alpha Quadrant.

Mec VI was a Cardassian colony world that was ceded to Bajoran control in the Treaty of Bajor. In 2402, the Bajoran government signed an agreement with the Ferengi Tourism Commission to develop the islands of Mec VI as a pleasure resort and casino. Construction is due to be completed in 2411.
