Lieutenant Commander Mercedes "Mercy" McMary is a Human security officer on board the player's starship, under the command of Captain Qat'Anmek.

- “Prelude to a Crisis”: During the first mission of the game, she briefs the player in the Transporter Room before beaming down to the U.S.S. Khitomer and warns about possible combat ahead. She is killed by an attack along with the rest of the senior staff during the Borg invasion of the Vega System later in the Tutorial.
