The Mirror Engle-class Strike Wing Escort is a Tier 6 Strike Wing Escort which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T6 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Mirror Strike Wing Escort [T6]]. This ship can also be purchased as an account-unlock from the Zen Store as part of the 12th Anniversary Terran Bundle for 17,500 .

Overview

Incidents with the alternate dimension known as the "Mirror Universe" have resulted in some Terran vessels being studied and retrofitted for service.

The Engle-class Mirror Strike Wing Escort is retrofitted from a ship that crossed over from the 23rd century into present-day space. A fearsome Terran vessel, this starship's capabilities and integrated technologies emphasizes the Terran philosophy to not only crush the enemy, but make it hurt the entire way. Its design drives this point home, maximizing its offensive capabilities by augmenting the powerful weapons layout with debilitating scientific support abilities and a full hangar bay of fighters ready to unleash destruction on anyone or anything their captain points them at.

Experimental Weapon

This vessel comes with the unique [Graviton Implosion Charges] experimental weapon. The Graviton Implosion Projector was the preferred speciality weapon of Terran Captains who knew to appreciate the finer things in destroying their enemies. Not only does it pack a heavy punch via unconventional means, but it also weakens the hull of all ships in the area, pulling them together with the same intense gravitational forces that tear the ships apart, and there's something that truly appeals to the heart of Terran captains about seeing the warp core breach of one foe used to take down a second foe.

Notes

• This vessel comes with the unique Terran Crossfield bridge, also available on Mirror Crossfield Science Destroyer and Styx Terran Dreadnought Cruiser.
• This vessel comes with an I.S.S. registry name prefix option.
• Prior to November 12, 2020, the Engle had a unique way of scaling to its full potential, unlocking all of its equipment slots at level 30 instead of level 40. This prevented it from being upgraded to Tier 6-X upon that feature's introduction. It was later changed to scale in the same way as all other T6 ships. Any items still in the now-locked equipment slots would however continue to function. The original scaling method can be found in its Dev Blog announcement below.
