The Mirror Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Warbird Battlecruiser which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T5 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. It can also drop from the older [Tal Shiar Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Mirror Universe Ha'apax Advanced Warbird].
The Tholian Assembly has been utilizing multi-dimensional phasing technology to penetrate the barriers of the space-time continuum, resulting in retrieval of technology, weapons, personnel and even entire starships, pulled from distant times and places. Ripples from their activity have caused uncontrolled temporal anomalies to appear up to several hundred light years from their source.
Daredevil profiteers from the Lobi Crystal Consortium have set up an intricate supply chain dedicated to seeking out these uncontrolled ripple anomalies, and exploiting them to retrieve goods that they can then sell to the highest bidders. Starfleet, Klingon Defense Force and Romulan Republic all have an obvious interest in these valuable time-displaced artifacts, for it may be that the fate of time itself will be in the hands of the faction that controls them.
One of the recovered starships is the Romulan Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird, a Mirror Universe variant of the Republic's own Advanced Warbird. When compared to its Prime Universe counterpart, this vessel has more of a science focus in Bridge Officer slots and console configuration.

When compared to the older Romulan warbirds, the Ha'apax class has a much bulkier main hull with no internal space like the D'deridex class. The enormous wings arch downwards (reminiscent of the Dhelan class) to meet with the secondary wings, and the "head" looks to be patterned somewhat after a Bird-of-Prey such as an eagle. Indeed, when viewed from directly above or below, it becomes obvious that the ship's shape and design are strongly reminiscent of a Bird-of-Prey in flight.
Players can choose between two different types (Type 1 and Type 2) of Ha'apax class "hull" and "nacelle" designs.

The Ha'apax class parts are interchangeable with parts from the Ha'feh and the Ha'nom. Selecting these parts will turn the ship's Assault command section into a Ha'feh-class vessel and Guardian command section into a Ha'nom.

When compared to the Ha'apax, the Haakona class has a more ridged and segmented overall design. The ship's primary wings sweep upwards, while the wings of the Assault Warbird component sweep downwards, giving it a look of an eagle with its talons outstretched.

Based on previous Advanced Warbird designs, the Kara class shares a lot of similarities with Haakona-class Warbird. The most notable difference is the lance emitter on the front section of the ship. Unlike its predecessor, it also features a hangar bay.
The Mirror Ha'apax Advanced Warbird doesn't come equipped with any universal consoles.
However, it can equip [Console - Universal - Dual Vector Separation] and [Console - Universal - Supplemental Subsystems] which form the Romulan Maneuvering Protocol Set. These consoles are obtainable with Haakona Advanced Warbird (T5) and Kara Advanced Warbird (T6). For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
The Mirror Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
As a Romulan Warbird, the Mirror Ha'apax-class Advanced Warbird comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
