Release date: May 21, 2013
The Mirror Ha'nom-class Guardian Warbird is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Warbird Science Vessel which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T5 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. It can also drop from the older [Temporal Lock Box], and [Elachi Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Mirror Universe Ha'nom Guardian Warbird].
Overview[]
The Tholian Assembly has been utilizing multi-dimensional phasing technology to penetrate the barriers of the space-time continuum, resulting in retrieval of technology, weapons, personnel and even entire starships, pulled from distant times and places. Ripples from their activity have caused uncontrolled temporal anomalies to appear up to several hundred light years from their source.
Daredevil profiteers from the Lobi Crystal Consortium have set up an intricate supply chain dedicated to seeking out these uncontrolled ripple anomalies, and exploiting them to retrieve goods that they can then sell to the highest bidders. Starfleet, Klingon Defense Force and Romulan Republic all have an obvious interest in these valuable time-displaced artifacts, for it may be that the fate of time itself will be in the hands of the faction that controls them.
One of the recovered starships is the Romulan Ha'nom-class Guardian Warbird, a Mirror Universe variant of the Republic's own Guardian Warbird. In comparison to its Prime Universe counterpart, the Mirror Ha'nom class swaps a Tactical Console for an Engineering one and acquires another Engineering Bridge Officer at the expense of a Tactical one.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Ha'nom class strongly resembles its sister class, the Ha'apax. The key difference are the wings - the Ha'nom class has more of a fixed-wing design, with the wings straight out to the side and no secondary wings. The wings also feature the classic warbird feathered pattern on their upper side. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Ha'nom class parts are interchangeable with parts from the Ha'apax Advanced Warbird. Aside from using the Ha'apax wings, players can choose between two different types (Type 1 and Type 2) of Ha'apax-class "hull" and "nacelle" designs. If the Ha'apax Hull, Wings and Nacelles are selected, the Ha'nom will resemble the Ha'apax-styled Guardian command section of the Haakona class. For more information, see Dual Vector Separation universal console. Unlike the other variants, the ship's wings sweep downwards. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Haakona Advanced Warbird, 2,500 The Ha'nom class parts are interchangeable with parts from the Haakona Advanced Warbird. If the Haakona-class Hull, Wings and Nacelles are selected, the Ha'nom will look like the Guardian command section of the Haakona class. | |
SKIN UNLOCK: Kara Advanced Warbird, 3,000 The Ha'nom class parts are interchangeable with parts from the Kara Advanced Warbird. If the Kara Hull, Wings and Nacelles are selected, the Ha'nom will resemble the Kara-styled Guardian command section of the Haakona class. A large deflector dish differentiates it from the other types. |
Abilities[]
Battle Cloak
The Mirror Ha'nom-class Guardian Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The Mirror Ha'nom-class Guardian Warbird comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Singularity[]
As a Romulan Warbird, the Mirror Ha'nom-class Guardian Warbird comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Standard configuration[]
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
