The Mirror Mogai-class Heavy Warbird Retrofit is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Warbird which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters, as well as characters of any other faction. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.

Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T5 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. It can also drop from the older [Undine Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Mirror Universe Mogai Heavy Warbird Retrofit].

Overview

The Tholian Assembly has been utilizing multi-dimensional phasing technology to penetrate the barriers of the space-time continuum, resulting in retrieval of technology, weapons, personnel and even entire starships, pulled from distant times and places. Ripples from their activity have caused uncontrolled temporal anomalies to appear up to several hundred light years from their source.

Daredevil profiteers from the Lobi Crystal Consortium have set up an intricate supply chain dedicated to seeking out these uncontrolled ripple anomalies, and exploiting them to retrieve goods that they can then sell to the highest bidders. Starfleet, Klingon Defense Force and Romulan Republic all have an obvious interest in these valuable time-displaced artifacts, for it may be that the fate of time itself will be in the hands of the faction that controls them.

One of the recovered starships is the Romulan Mogai-class Heavy Warbird Retrofit, a Mirror Universe variant of the Republic's own Heavy Warbird. In comparison to its Prime Universe counterpart, it features a Lt. Commander Science bridge officer station instead of the Lt. Commander Engineering station, and switches the Lieutenant Universal station for a Lieutenant Science station; it also swaps an Engineering console slot for a Science console slot. In all other regards it is statistically identical.

Class variants

Mogai class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free Made famous by its appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis, the Mogai class strongly resembles a falcon or other Bird-of-Prey. It boasts a massive wingspan with feather patterns along their length, extremely pointed warp nacelles and a "beak"-like command section.
Valdore class	SKIN UNLOCK: Valdore Heavy Warbird, 75,000 A refit of the Mogai class, the Valdore class has a noticeably more curved and armored appearance, with a less broad wingspan, a different feather pattern on the wings and more prominent Warp nacelles.
Morrigu class	SKIN UNLOCK: Morrigu Heavy Warbird, 3,000 The Morrigu class was developed by the Romulan Republic in 2410. Similar to the Valdore, The Morrigu has a less broad wingspan than the Mogai, but features a thinner neck. Deployed in the middle of the Iconian War, its head and wing section are also more heavily armored.

Abilities

Universal consoles

The Mirror Mogai Heavy Warbird Retrofit doesn't come equipped with any universal consoles.

However, it can equip [Console - Universal - Shield Absorptive Frequency Generator], [Console - Universal - Ionized Particle Beam] and [Console - Universal - Ablative Hazard Shielding] which form the Enhanced Weapon Systems Efficiency Set. These consoles are obtainable with Valdore Heavy Warbird (T3), Mogai Heavy Warbird Retrofit (T5) and Morrigu Heavy Warbird (T6). For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.

Battle Cloak

The Mirror Mogai-class Heavy Warbird Retrofit has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.

Experimental Weapon

The Mirror Mogai-class Heavy Warbird Retrofit comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.

Singularity

As a Romulan Warbird, the Mirror Mogai-class Heavy Warbird Retrofit comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
