Mission Text

We're trying a different approach to restoring assimilated Deferi, and I think you can help.

We can remove the implants and disconnect someone from the Collective, but helping them return to their old life is far more difficult. Many liberated Borg are disconnected from the world at large, and have difficulty relating to other people – even the people they once loved.

While this can be overcome with time and therapy, we're finding it has a devastating effect on the Deferi psyche. Because the Deferi have such close family relationships, losing one of them to the Collective scars the entire family.

We have a partially assimilated Deferi here and we want to restore the memories of her life through exposure therapy. What we need you to do is collect mementos of her life from different areas and then help her interact with them.

With luck, she will remember her life and be able to return without difficulty.
