Nothing is ever simple when dealing with the Mirror Universe. Nothing is ever simple when dealing with temporal displacement. Even fewer things are simple when dealing with temporally-displaced members of the Mirror Universe.

Pahvo Dissension is a ground Task Force Operation requiring a team of five, available in Normal, Advanced and Elite version for level 10-65 players. It was launched as a Featured Task Force Operation on February 21, 2019.

In Pahvo Dissension, five Alliance captains will deal with the aftermath of the recent events at Pahvo. Wreckage of the I.S.S. Charon has crash landed on the planet, torn through time and space due to ion storms, mycelial interference, and Captain Tilly’s nefarious actions. The Terrans want to make Prime Pahvo into the bioterror that is Mirror Pahvo.

Outline[]

The I.S.S. Charon has been sucked through space, time and dimensions to crash land on Pahvo. Word of the planet's unique nature has reached the Terran survivors and they are proceeding to agonize Pahvo into a weapon for them. Only you (and 4 other captains) can stop them!

    Walkthrough[]

    The Red Planet objective

    1. During the first part of the mission, there are five Agony Field Generators that need to be deactivated and have Pahvan Crystal Clusters placed in their stead. Having each player do one of them in parallel will reduce the overall time needed.

    2. Once the crystal at the spire has been purified, there are three paths to separate regions to be followed. There are at least seven such regions (based on the region numbers displayed during the mission); three are randomly assigned to each instance of the TFO. It may be recommended to do each of these as a team of five, unless one or more can "solo" a region, in which case two teams of two and a solo is recommended.

    • Each region consists of a set of three crystals.
    • The first two crystals in each region are surrounded by three Agony Field Generators, the third is surrounded by five. Initially, only the first crystal in each region is accessible; the others are protected by force fields, which drop as each preceding crystal is purified.
    • It is recommended to first take out the Agony Field Generators and place Pahvan Crystal Clusters before attacking the Terrans, in order to increase the chance of completing the corresponding optional objective. Terrans will otherwise continually beam-in reinforcements.
    • Once placed, the Pahvan Crystal Clusters must be defended. If they take too much damage, they will be destroyed, and purification will not progress until they are replaced.
    • When traveling between crystals, avoid jumping as it may instead transport you back to the spire.
    • [Optional] Failed: If all three regions are not complete when time expires, the optional objective fails (loss of corresponding marks).
    • Once all three regions are complete (or time expires), players are regrouped at the spire.

    The Blue Planet objective
    3. Players will need to defend the "roots" of the spire for five minutes. At least one but no more than two players should be stationed at each root. Terrans will try to place Agony Field Generators at the roots in an attempt to corrupt them. These need to be deactivated and Pahvan Crystal Clusters placed as soon as possible.

    • [Optional] Failed: If any one root becomes corrupt, that optional objective fails (loss of corresponding marks). If all three roots become corrupt, the mission ends (loss of corresponding marks).
    • For those using the Solar Gateway kit module, it is recommended to place them (far) away from the crystals and roots being purified, as it can otherwise blind other players' visual perspectives and make it difficult (if not impossible) to stay on top of overriding Agony Field Generators and placing Pahvan Crystal Clusters. Placement near the central spire may be useful, allowing them to fire outwards in any direction.

    4. Near the end of the mission, "elite" forces including two Terran Captains will beam down. Defeating both Captains will both complete the optional objective and end the mission.

    Accolades[]

    Lore[]

Captains all have some twisted introductory lines, followed by two more as they get wounded, and they all have some last words.

    • I'm about to redefine pain for you. It's gonna be glorious.
    • Klingons fear me. You're about to find out why.
    • Andrei is here. Andrei will crush you. It is fact.
    • Andrei's... story... ends here. Sad.
    • If you're smart, you'll beg for mercy now. I might even listen.
    • You hit like my granny... before I had her shot for treason.

Also, if playing a DSC character, Terran Captains will sometimes personally address (read: provoke) you.

    • You're pathetic, no wonder Tilly put a spoon in your eye!
    • Hey... you're the one who got killed by a spoon, yeah? Nice one, mate.
    • If it isn't Schaefer's pet. Is he dead here too?
    • Our 'you' was a simpering weakling. You're at least... interesting.
    • Did you know Tilly killed our version of you with a spoon? It. was. awesome!
    • In our universe? Andrei laughed when Tilly killed you. With spoon.
    • I'm gonna kill you, and I damn sure won't use a damn SPOON! Grrraaagh!
    • Nice... I get to see you die a second time. It's not even my birthday.
