Enter the Rhi System in the Sierra Sector of the Alpha Centauri Sector Block to begin. Upon entering, your bridge officer will explain the situation.
Tactical Officer:
Since the destruction of the Romulus [sic] homeworld, many of the former colony worlds have tried to go their own way. Starfleet Command supports these attempts at independence -- someday some of these worlds might even apply to be members of the Federation.
Empress Sela has been sending fleets to harass these "breakaway" planets.
Starfleet wants the <ship name> to be a buffer between the residents of the colony in this system and the Romulan forces. Our orders are to keep the Romulans at bay and give these people a chance to develop their own system of government.
At this point you acquire the mission “Rhi System Patrol”.

Eliminate Romulan Ships[ | ]
The Romulan squadrons are all located near five large asteroids in the planetary rings. Engage and destroy all of them.
Tactical Officer:
The leaders of the colony send their thanks, Captain. They won't forget what we've done for them today.
Depart System[ | ]
Return to sector space once the mission is complete.
