Outline[]
The player has 15 minutes to search the Summer Resort on Risa for temporally displaced artifacts.
Mission text[]
There's a bunch of "temporally displaced" artifacts here on Risa, and I mean to collect them all! With, ah, your help, of course... partner. Oh, sure, some of these relics are useless junk, but some of them are worth their weight in sweet gold-pressed latinum!
Goal[]
Scan for artifacts using this scanning device.
Objectives[]
- Conduct Initial Scan
- Look for the Artifact
- Dig up the Artifact
- Return to Artifact Hunter Sovak
Artifacts[]
There are twenty Temporal Artifacts which the player can discover. The artifact locations for this mission are randomly selected from a list of 16 predetermined spawn points, as seen below in the Gallery; each discovery is random regardless of where they appear, and repeats are possible. The list is as follows:
Artifact | Description |
---|---|
Vorgon Ship Deck Plans | These detailed deck plans could be used to construct a Vorgon ship of the FNORD-class, if you had the resources and manpower available for such an endeavor. (Old description) These detailed deck plans could be used to construct a Vorgon ship of the Xyfius class, if you had the resources and manpower available for such an endeavor. (New description) |
Vorgon Ship Weaponry Schematics | Full plans detailing the construction of Vorgon capital ship-based weaponry. There is a particular focus on weapons intended for use on the FNORD-class vessel. Vorgon Ship Power Schematics | These files contain extensive details on the power systems utilized by the Vorgon Xyfius class vessel . Everything from batteries to the primary warp drive! |
Vorgon Ship Auxiliary System Files | If you were ever curious about ship-based Vorgon food replicators, leisure sims, recreation facilities, and the like, these files will answer all of your questions. |
Vorgon Ship Defense Data | Complete files and schematics for the shielding systems and deflector array utilized by the Xyfius class vessel. |
Tox Uthat Replica | A reasonable facsimile of the legendary artifact... until you see the Quark Enterprises logo stamped on its base. |
Vintage Horga'hn | Scans place this relic's time of origin at the year 2112, making it an instant collector's item to be sure. |
A Piece of Junk | It's literally a piece of junk. Even your tricorder can't figure out what it once was. You might be able to convince a very gullible life-form that it has value, but I wouldn't count on it. |
Portable Fusion Generator | A crude, primitive fusion generator of Terran design. Scans indicate the point of origin at pre-World War III, circa 1985. |
Telephone Booth | Commonplace on Terra until the Eugenics Wars, these chambers housed a rudimentary comms-unit operated by the insertion of metal coinage. How one of these wound up on Risa is anyone's guess. |
Animal Collar | A diamond-studded collar fashioned for a small domestic animal of some type. The word "Isis" appears on the interior of the collar. |
Oo-mox for Fun and Profit | A very rare first printing of the legendary Ferengi tome, in hardback, autographed by the author. |
Deerstalker Cap | Scans indicate this headgear originated in 19th Century Terra. A label reading "S. Holmes" is found in the cap's interior lining. |
Buck Bokai Rookie Card | Issued for the 2015 season of Terran baseball. Contains numerous statistics relating to Bokai's performance that season for the London Kings. |
Dixon Hill and the Black Orchid | A rare, pre-Eugenics Wars copy of the film, stored in a crude analog magnetic tape format. Finding a media unit that can play this might be a difficult task. |
Chicago Mobs of the Twenties | 1992 edition, hardback. Details life in the Terran city of Chicago during the early twentieth century, specifically as it related to numerous criminal organizations known as "families." |
George and Gracie Collector Plate | Issued by the Cetacean Institute in 1986, it commemorates their star attractions – a pair of Humpback Whales. Said creatures disappeared later that year from the Bering Sea under mysterious circumstances. |
HMS Bounty Model Kit | 1/350 scale, unassembled, all parts and decals included. A model of the B'rel-class Bird of Prey captured by James T. Kirk in orbit over the Genesis planet. Cloaking Device not included. |
Orb of Time (Replica) | Number 4 in the 9 part "Tears of the Prophets" replica series based on the legendary Bajoran artifacts. Produced under official license by Quark Enterprises. |
Encounter at Excalbia | First edition of the popular holosuite program, in where the players encounter historical figures from a number of galactic cultures and attempt to solve a murder mystery with them. |
