The Hobus system has a long history of hosting nefarious activities. The Hobus star was the epicenter of the supernova that destroyed Romulus, and Taris used it as a testing ground for her experiments with Iconian technology. Any activity detected at this location must [be] followed up on in order to ensure that nothing that could endanger the quadrant occurs there again.
Rendezvous with Lt. Cmdr. Kyla VanZyl to investigate these readings.

Mission text[]
<Name>, I'm currently on leave from Voyager and I was passing near the Hobus system in a shuttlecraft when I picked up some odd energy readings.
I took a detour to investigate – you can't be too careful where Hobus is concerned. But I wouldn't mind some help. Can you rendezvous with me at these coordinates? Having a real starship here would be a big help.
Goal[]
Rendezvous with Lt. Cmdr. Kyla VanZyl in the Hobus system, which is located in the Beta Quadrant.
After taking the turbolift to the Engine Room on Sela's ship, assign an Engineering BOFF for the Intermix repair, a Science BOFF for the Deflector repair and a Tactical BOFF for the Shield repair
Uneasy Allies was released on March 26, 2015 as the intro to the Iconian War arc. A special event was held until April 16th. During this time, the mission had a minimum rank of 10 (while Romulan characters were additionally required to have completed “Bigger Picture”) and rewarded a special [Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade] once per account, per week for an effective total of 3 per account.
The accolade "Curse Your Sudden But Inevitable Betrayal" is a reference to the sci-fi series Firefly, a quote used by Wash as he plays with toy dinosaurs.
At one point, Sela says, "Who even builds rooms like this into a structure, anyway?" which is a reference to Galaxy Quest.
The arena gate has been repaired since your last visit and cannot be opened. Strangely though, the arena and both holding areas are still loaded in as part of the map.
Defeating the Iconian Herald doesn't yield anything, so Sela's advice of avoiding a fight with it is worth heeding.
This is an incredibly buggy episode. There's a good chance the ground portion will not progress and might require redoing it two, three, or even more times in one session to complete it.
