Mission Text[]
Captain, long range scans indicate anomalous elemental composition in some of the asteroids in this region.
We need a closer look at those asteroids to see if they are what the scientists at Vulcan Science Academy are theorizing they might be.
Nausicaans are known to use this asteroid belt as a base, but I think the scientific potential indicated by the elemental reading readings makes the risk worth taking.
I doubt the Nausicaans have any idea of the possible rarity of the asteroids they are sitting upon, but they'll defend the area our of pride.
We need to get closer to the larger asteroids and conduct a spectral analysis. It's a risk, sir, but if the data is conclusive the scientific potential could have enormous implications for the Federation.
