The NX-class Escort Refit is a Tier 6 Escort which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from the Lobi Crystal Consortium for 900 . The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - NX Escort Refit [T6]].

This ship could also be purchased as an account-unlock from the Zen Store as a possible choice from the Mudd's Faith of the Heart Choice Pack as part of "Mudd's Market", available from August 4, 2020 to November 20, 2020. Like all items in the Market, the Bundle periodically goes on massive discounts (upwards of 75% during special promotional sales).

Overview

The 23rd century refit of the legendary NX-class of the 22nd century, this escort vessel is both tough and nimble in battle. A key component of this ship’s arsenal is the new Point Defense Bombardment Warhead, which fills an area with micro-torpedoes before the primary payload has detonated on impact.

NX class refit Ventral	SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship The 23rd century refit of the 22nd century's legendary NX class, this escort vessel is both tough and nimble in battle. A conjectural refit of the NX class, this configuration might have been used had the show continued to a fifth season. Designed by Doug Drexler, this design was intended to be a stepping stone between the NX and Constitution classes. The individual parts of this preset are named "Utopia Refit" in Ship Customization.
Columbia class Ventral	SKIN UNLOCK: Legendary Columbia Temporal Operative Escort, 30,000 The Columbia class is a re-interpretation of the NX-class light escort as it might appear in the 2280s, around the time of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. It is meant to be a contemporary of the Miranda, Oberth, and Excelsior-class ships.

This vessel comes equipped with the Point Defense Bombardment Warhead universal console, which is part of the Synergistic Retrofitting Set. Other consoles from this set can be equipped for set bonuses and additional abilities.

The NX-class Escort Refit comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
