The Omega-class Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Science Destroyer which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.

Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 2,500  under the name Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer. This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Dyson Starfleet Science Destroyer Bundle for 5,000 . It is also available as part of the following: Dyson Science Destroyer Mega Bundle for 10,000 .

Solanae class	SKIN UNLOCK: Solanae Dyson Science Destroyer, 600 Though the Solanae class's lines and key traits follow standard Starfleet design principles - notably resembling the Avenger class refit's profile - the incorporation of materials and technology discovered in the Solanae Dyson Sphere has given the vessel a distinct and unmistakable visual signature. The saucer and hull are constructed from large, overlapping plates, constructed from the same white, lattice-patterned material that makes up the Obelisk-class Carrier (another Sphere-derived ship). Elongated warp nacelles are placed at the ends of pylons level with the secondary hull, and rather than the common blue-and-red glow of Starfleet-standard nacelles, are lit purple, not unlike vessels equipped with the Jem'Hadar Resilient Shields. The saucer itself is distinguished by a split design, with a gap in the bow revealing the Solanae's secondary deflector.
Montgomery class	SKIN UNLOCK: Montgomery Dyson Reconnaissance Science Destroyer, 2,500 The Montgomery Class is an upgraded variant of the Dyson Science Destroyer. It features an additional Tactical console mod slot, improved hull and shield rating and comes equipped with the Proton Destabilizer Module Universal Console. This console allows you to draw power from your warp core to emit a devastating proton beam from your deflector focused on a nearby enemy. Periodically arcing waves of proton energy will lash out at foes nearby your targeted enemy dealing damage to all enemies affected.
Omega class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship The Omega Class is an upgraded variant of the Dyson Science Destroyer. It features an additional Engineering console mod slot, improved hull and shield rating and comes equipped with the Protonic Shielding Matrix Universal Console. This console allows your Dyson class starship to store and then divert tremendous amounts of proton particles to periodically reinforce your shields for a while. This will cause your starship to negate large amounts of damage every few seconds for a short time.
Helios class	SKIN UNLOCK: Helios Dyson Surveillance Science Destroyer, 2,500 The Helios Class is an upgraded variant of the Dyson Science Destroyer. It features an additional Science console mod slot, improved hull and shield rating and comes equipped with the Shield Inversion Projector Universal Console. This console allows your Dyson class starship to emit a devastating tachyon beam blast from your deflector, you can cause your foe's shields to briefly collapse in a wave of energy. The affected enemy will have their shields weakened and suffer heavy shield and hull damage. Allies within the wave will receive a large amount of shield healing.

Tactical Mode

A built-in Tactical Mode ability allows the Omega Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer to switch between a default Science Mode and Tactical Mode.

• Tactical Mode

Activating the Tactical Mode transforms the starship from a typical Science Vessel into a combat-oriented Destroyer. This disables most of advanced science systems while activating additional tactical systems:

Tactical Mode may be deactivated at any time to return to the default Science Mode, but doing so incurs a 60 second cooldown on the transformation back to Tactical Mode.

Subsystem Targeting

The Omega-class Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities that it may use while it is in Science Mode. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.

Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.

Sensor Analysis

Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability available to the Omega-class Dyson Strategic Science Destroyer while it is in Science Mode. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.

Notes

• This ship was released with the other Advanced Dyson Destroyers on the 20th of February 2014.
• The Starfleet Dyson Science Destroyer variants aren't as sturdy as the models used by Klingon Defense Force, or as stealthy as those of the Romulan Republic, but they have a slightly higher shield modifier to compensate.
