The Paradans are a humanoid non-player race native to the Parada System in the Gamma Quadrant and members of the Dominion. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)
History[]
- In the 24th century, Starfleet helped to prevent a disruption of the peace talks between the Paradan government and Paradan rebels. (DS9 episode "Whispers")
- Paradans then began to visit Deep Space 9 frequently.
Appearance[]
Male Paradan
Paradans are a hairless reptiloid species. A crest runs from the nose over the top of their heads. Grey-blue markings extend from the eyebrows and cover the temples. There is a pattern of adjacent spots in the same color. The nose is flattened and the lips small.
Duty officers[]
Paradan duty officers are only available for the Federation.

- The sector space exploration narration for the Idran region states that the Paradans are "valuable members" of the Dominion.
