Pavyl is a Risian civilian located at the beach southeast of the hotel at the Summer Resort on Risa. He will stay there from sunrise to sunset and disappears at night to go on his "travels." After meeting Pavyl, he challenges the player to find him in his nighttime hiding spot - akin to a scavenger hunt -- and interact with him to get an Accolade. Note these are not actual missions that give tangible rewards, but quests that give only Accolades.

Hello friend!

We're all friends here on Risa. What is ours is yours.

I've been thinking of places that you might like to explore. I know every inch of this island - and that includes all the spots that aren't in the tourism guides.

Care to play a little game?

First quest[]

At sunset, I'm going to a special place on the island. See if you can find me there.

Here's a hint: You'll find me past that which sways, in the den of that which once lived.

Got it? Good! I'll be there until sunrise.

Here is the next clue.

Three there are on the island, arcing over its waters.

Beneath one I shall wait.
