The Plasma Split Beam Pistol is a ranged ground weapon. It fires a steady beam that inflicts energy damage at a single target. It has a secondary fire mode that shoots a beam that hits up to three targets in front of the player in a narrow arc at the same range as its primary fire.
Plasma ground weapons have a chance to apply a weak plasma damage over time effect.
