The Reliant-class Advanced Light Cruiser is a Tier 6 Cruiser which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.

Players can obtain this starship from the Zen Store for 3,000 . This ship can be purchased individually, or as part of the Cross Faction Advanced Light Cruiser Bundle [T6] for 6,000 . It is also available as part of the following: PC-only Federation Elite Starter Pack for 2,000 .

Purchasing this starship will unlock a Fleet Ship Module discount when purchasing the Fleet Soyuz Advanced Light Cruiser.

Overview

This modern version of the classic Miranda Class starship has been outfitted for high maneuverability, without sacrificing much in the way of the defensive and utility capabilities typically associated with Cruiser type vessels.

This vessel comes with the Reliant-class costume, and it enables a discount when purchasing its fleet variant. It can utilize the Pilot bridge officer powers and other abilities described below.

Miranda class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free Miranda class starships have been in service since at least 2285, used well into the 24th Century during conflicts such as the Dominion War. The Miranda-class design included a roll bar equipped with torpedo launchers and phaser banks.
Miranda class Beta Gamma	SKIN UNLOCK: Free This variant of the Miranda class is designed to more closely reflect its CGI appearance on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, including a greyer hull, lit nacelles and a redesigned saucer with additional lights. The Miranda Beta pylon option also includes an in-built deflector dish, referencing the original STO model of the Miranda class from the launch of the game. Also available are Miranda Gamma nacelles, which include bussard collectors that are lit red, inspired by the U.S.S. MacDuff seen in the Star Trek: Lower Decks episode “Strange Energies.” Beta and Gamma parts must be selected manually in the Ship Tailor.
Centaur class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Centaur class is based on the Excelsior class, known to be active in the 2370s during the Dominion threat. It has a main saucer section with two aft nacelles at the end of its down-swept pylons.
Saratoga class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Saratoga class is based on the ill-fated starship Benjamin Sisko served on during the Battle of Wolf 359, the U.S.S. Saratoga.
ShiKahr class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free A mid-24th century starship, the ShiKahr class was conceived as a light cruiser contemporary to the Cheyenne, Galaxy, and Nebula classes. The class is most likely named after the Vulcan city ShiKahr.
Miranda class (Mk I)	SKIN UNLOCK: Legendary Miranda Multi-Mission Cruiser, 12,000 From its humble beginnings as a workhorse of the Federation's fleets, this dependable class of ships has ended up making a name for itself across the annuls of history, even if some of those circumstances have been less-than-flattering. This Mk. I variant is representative of the earliest iterations of the Miranda spaceframe, dating back to early 2260s. By the mid 2270s, most ships in the fleet had been refit with a variety of new propulsion and defensive systems. Only a handful of Mirandas were built in their original configuration before the production line was paused to incorporate these technological advancements into new construction from the keel out.
Miranda class (Mk I Beta)	SKIN UNLOCK: Legendary Miranda Multi-Mission Cruiser, 12,000 The look of this Mk. I Beta variant is based on the slightly different Constitution-class studio model that appeared in the second Pilot episode for 'Star Trek: The Original Series', the episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before".
Reliant class	SKIN UNLOCK: Free with this starship OR Legendary Miranda Multi-Mission Cruiser, 12,000 The Reliant class modernizes the utilitarian aspects of the Miranda design with a strong focus on mobility and utility, while improving the overall capabilities of this workhorse cruiser to match those of its fellow Tier 6 starships.
Reliant class (Mirror)	SKIN UNLOCK: Federation Responder Bundle, 12,000 A twisted, dark reflection of the Reliant-class, emblazoned with the modern 2411 livery of the Terran Empire.
Bozeman class	SKIN UNLOCK: Bozeman Intel Heavy Frigate, 3,000 The Bozeman-class Heavy Frigate is the Soyuz for the modern sensibilities of the 25th Century.
Bozeman class (Mirror)	SKIN UNLOCK: Federation Responder Bundle, 12,000 A twisted, dark reflection of the Bozeman-class, emblazoned with the modern 2411 livery of the Terran Empire.
Soyuz class	SKIN UNLOCK: Fleet Soyuz Advanced Light Cruiser, 20,000 , 5 OR Fleet Soyuz Intel Heavy Frigate, 20,000 , 5 OR Legendary Miranda Multi-Mission Cruiser, 12,000 The Soyuz class is based on the ship commanded by Captain Morgan Bateson in the late 23rd century, the U.S.S. Bozeman.
Malachowski class	SKIN UNLOCK: Clarke Multi-Mission Command Cruiser, 3,000 OR Fleet Malachowski Multi-Mission Command Cruiser, 20,000 , 5 OR Legendary Miranda Multi-Mission Cruiser, 12,000 The Malachowski class is one of the smaller ship classes of its time. One vessel of this class, the U.S.S. Clarke, participated in the Battle of the Binary Stars. Its saucer section is similar to that of the Miranda-class Light Cruiser. The Malachowski features two angular warp nacelles underneath the main hull.
Clarke class	SKIN UNLOCK: Clarke Multi-Mission Command Cruiser, 3,000 OR Legendary Miranda Multi-Mission Cruiser, 12,000 The Clarke Multi-Mission Command Cruiser was purpose-built to serve as the vanguard of reinforcement fleets, bringing with it a wide array of potential life-saving technology in the form of its Command Specialist capabilities. Additionally, despite only being a mid-sized cruiser, this vessel boasts a hangar bay able to house a wing of support vessels of any configuration its captain sees fit to equip.

By using an [Experimental Ship Upgrade Token], the Reliant-class Advanced Light Cruiser may be upgraded to T6-X, unlocking an extra ship device slot, universal console slot, and the ability to slot an extra starship trait.

Note that upgrading the Fleet Soyuz Advanced Light Cruiser, the fleet version of the Reliant Advanced Light Cruiser, will not apply the upgrade to this starship.

Notes

• The introduction of the Advanced Light Cruiser coincided with an upgrade for the Miranda-class model that more closely matched the ships appearance in the various Star Trek television series and feature films.
• The model was revamped in 2021 as part of Season Twenty-four: Reflections and was given access to the new Type 7A hull material type.
• The Reliant-class made an appearance as part of the armada featured in "The Star Gazer", the first episode of Star Trek: Picard season 2. It became one of the first four Star Trek Online starship designs to be featured in a televised Star Trek production. The model revamp took place to increase its fidelity for its appearance in the series. [1]
