The Risian corvette is a Tier 5 (Level 40) Escort which may be flown by characters of any faction.

Players can only obtain this starship if they had previously claimed it from an event or Phoenix Prize Pack. It was previously available from the Phoenix Prize Pack for 1 [Ultra Rare Prize Token - Phoenix Prize Pack]; this ship box obtained by this method cannot be sold or traded. Those who obtained it from a previous Lohlunat Festival event for 1000 Risian Lohlunat Pearls may find this vessel in the “Reclaim Rewards” store, accessible via the "Events" UI.

Overview

The Risian corvette was initially designed as a racing ship for entertainment purposes. The ship's incredible speed and maneuverability drew the interest of the Lobi Crystal Consortium, who purchased the rights to manufacture armed versions of the vessel. There's a long waiting list for ships from the first Lobi production run of Risian corvettes, and deep space explorers and hotshot pilots traveling through more dangerous areas of space will often put a deposit down months in advance for the chance to acquire one.

This agile ship was designed with one purpose in mind: speed. As such, it is capable of overcharging most standard engines to achieve speeds that other vessels could never hope to match. Its EPS manifolds are custom tailored to bring extra Engine energy to bear, and its sleek design allows for a smaller sensor shadow making it more difficult for enemy weapons to lock on while traveling at high speeds.

It also comes with an innate Defense bonus based on the ship's speed, granting a Defense bonus up to +15%.

Players can choose between R.X.S. or their faction's native prefix.

Risian corvette

Originally designed as a racing and sporting vessel, the Risian corvette's profile is dominated by two massive warp nacelles arranged side-by-side and linked by the main hull. The main hull wraps around the rear and middle of the nacelles, with an extension set between them to allow for living space. The engines are located in a cluster of three vents towards the rear of the main hull. The deflector is also slung between the nacelles, set slightly forward of the main hull. The Risian corvette has the most color and pattern variants of any ship in the game, with a number of custom paint patterns available in addition to the standard ones for all ships. Unusually, players are also able to customize the "glow" color of the warp nacelles. It has 8 subclasses; Catona-class, Croesus-class, Epsilon-class, Horga'hn-class, Partheous-class, Suraya-class, Hanotis-class and Tolari-class. Experimental Weapon

Notes

• The "corvette" in this ship's name was capitalized upon its release on June 27th, 2013, but was later changed to lowercase with the July 25th, 2013 patch, less than 35 days later. As a result, only players that bought out the ship with lobi crystals would have ever seen the capitalized name in-game.
