This page is considered a guideline on STOWiki.

It illustrates standards of conduct, which many editors agree with in principle. However, it is not policy.

Feel free to update the page as needed, but please put proposals for any major changes to a vote on this article's discussion page.

The removal of text from the entirety of (or "blanking") STO Wiki articles is strictly forbidden. This practice is considered vandalism and the offending user will be given a short-term ban as a warning. If this behavior continues, a permanent ban will be put into effect.

If you believe a page is no longer necessary then tag it with the deletion template and apply a reason to it. For example: {{delete|This page has been replaced}}.
