Release date: August 16, 2022
The Sagan-class Command Cruiser is a Tier 6 Cruiser which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from a [Special Requisition Choice Pack - Tier 6 Promotional Ship Choice Pack], which has a ultra rare chance to drop from a [Infinity Promotion R&D Pack] or a [Infinity Promotion Duty Officer Pack]. This box is bound to you until a ship is chosen. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Sagan Command Cruiser [T6]].
Overview[ | ]
The Sagan-class was recently commissioned as a candidate to serve as a flagship for the Federation. Although it did not end up serving such a vaunted position, no one can deny that it could be capable of doing so if necessary. From hardened supplemental subsystems, to powerful communication array integration, this class is a veritable command center with nacelles. The first of its line was commissioned the U.S.S. Stargazer, in honor of the first ship commanded by the celebrated Admiral Jean-Luc Picard. It has continued to live up to its lofty expectations at every step of the way.

Notes[ | ]
- Although the Sagan is a successor to the Constellation, the larger size of the Sagan means parts of the Sagan and the Cheyenne family (including the Constellation) cannot be combined.
- With the PC launch of this ship, the Sagan ship costume was incorrectly assigned to that of the Parliament-class. This issue was fixed with a patch on August 17, 2022.[1]
