The Saltah'na System is a system in the Idran Sector of the Gamma Quadrant. The Saltah'na, native to the fifth planet, were an ancient species who were destroyed by a power struggle. They recorded their history in energy spheres. The system was first visited by a Klingon starship conducting a biosurvey. However, the Klingon ship was subsequently destroyed by its crew due to the influence of the Saltah'na spheres. ("Dramatis Personae ")
