The Sanek System is a system located in the Sanek Sector of the Beta Quadrant.
System description[]
Sanek is a hot, volcanically-active ringed world orbiting a dying orange-red star. The Sanek system is filled with reflective dust leftover from failed planet formation. Nevertheless, Sanek is a marginally habitable world.
Structure[]
Sanek Prime and nearby debris.
Two terrestrial planets orbit a single star in the Sanek System. While the outermost planet is a grey rock, Sanek I is volcanically active and barely habitable. Its orbit is shared with debris left from the planetary formation period. Since the Battle of Sanek in 2409 wrecked Klingon and Breen ships can be found in the planet's proximity.

Missions involved[]
- “Destiny”: The Breen Confederacy sends a fleet, led by Thot Mer, to assault Emperor Kahless. His KDF escorts are obliberated but the player enters the Sanek System in time to defeat the Breen fleet and the troops boarding Kahless' flagship, the I.K.S. Batlh.
