Season Eleven: New Dawn was released on October 27, 2015. It featured the beginning of the post-Iconian War galaxy restoration arc, included a complete revamp of the original Cardassian Struggle story arc, that was developed as Federation-only content – therefore excluding the later added The 2800 feature episode – and focused on the Terran Empire as central enemy faction, introducing the Terran Task Force as new Reputation System.

Mid-season update released on April 12, 2016. A main feature was the revamp of the skills system.

Game Content[]

New Featured Episode “The Temporal Front” will have players fighting Na'kuhl operatives seeded throughout the timeline to save the Federation from destruction.
New Na'kuhl Red alerts, “Temporal Marauders” will pit players against Na'kuhl forces in space battles.

Skill System[]

The skill system was completely revamped with many abilities being adjusted to take advantage of the new system, which replaced the old Skill Points with new 'Ground Points' and 'Space Points earned by leveling up.
The new system includes 'Active' skills bought using Points and 'passive' skills acquired by progressing in the new combined skill paths, which eliminates the old separate skill sets for the three professions.
The 'Crew' mechanic was removed. Abilities and equipment that were boosting Crew were altered to boost Hull.

Admiralty System[]

The Admiralty system was expanded with the addition of a new Romulan Republic campaign, focusing on crafting rewards, with the reward of three 'Romulan Republic Universal Upgrades' for completion of a Tour of Duty.

Specialization[]

Strategist Specialization - Secondary space-based specialization that takes advantage of the new 'Threatening Stance'.
