Season Sixteen: Mirror of Discovery was released alongside the 9th Anniversary on 23 January 2019 on PC, and 5 March 2019 for consoles. It's the Part 2 of the Age of Discovery content update and focuses on Discovery content from the Mirror universe.

Mary Wiseman returns to voice a Terran counterpart of Sylvia Tilly
The new episodes take place on Pahvo, as seen in Star Trek: Discovery
Mary Wiseman returns to Star Trek Online as "Captain Killy", a Mirror universe counterpart of Sylvia Tilly. The I.S.S. Discovery has been thrown into the 25th century and is now stranded in the Pahvo System and under an attack from the Klingon forces pulled with her. Tilly's presence threatens the peaceful ecosystem of the Pahvo world.

Three new Task Force Operations have been introduced over the course of Season Sixteen.

Personal Endeavors is a new system that allows you to unlock Account-wide stat bonuses by completing daily challenges. Like the Universal Endeavors system, Personal Endeavor offer random tasks for Level 60 or higher characters. Every day at 10:00 UTC three randomly assigned tasks are granted of various difficulties. Completing them rewards Endeavor XP and Personal Endeavor Prize Packs based on the appropriate difficulty.
