Star Trek Online: Stormfall (or Season Twenty-six: Stormfall) is a seasonal, major story update for Star Trek Online that was released for PC on May 10, 2022, and June 22, 2022 for Console. It continues the Terran Gambit story arc, including two new episodes, and a revamped 2409 Starfleet tutorial and TFO. The update was announced live at a panel during the 2022 Star Trek: Mission Chicago convention.

2409 Federation Tutorial Revamp[]
- Stormfall introduces a complete remaster of the Starfleet tutorial. The remaster to the Starfleet tutorial should provide aspiring Captains with a smoother experience, but will also add new environments, and more interactions with Borg and Admiral Janeway.
Story[]
- At the end of “Red Shift”, players discovered the missing individual they've been looking for is actually Lieutenant Ilia from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Stormfall sees Captains sent on a mission by Admiral Janeway, to rescue Ilia from a Terran Space Dock. The lieutenant informs the Captain that the Terren Forces, led by Captain Killy, are trying to resurrect an old adversary. Introducing Noah Averbach-Katz as Rae'Yeet, an Andorian rebel. Kate Mulgrew reprises her role as Kathryn Janeway, as well as the newly introduced Terran Marshall Janeway. Featuring the return of Chase Masterson as Admiral Leeta, Mary Wiseman as Mirror Captain Killy, and Kipleigh Brown as Mirror Captain Kuumaarke.
“Blue Shift”: After formulating a rescue plan, Admiral Janeway calls on Captains to team up with former Terran Admiral Leeta and Terran Marshal Janeway to execute a daring rescue of Ilia from the Terran ESD.- “The Calling”: With the information gained from Ilia, the Terrans are ready to contact a powerful new nemesis using the biggest galactic antenna they know of – the peaceful planet of Pahvo. The Coalition is attempting to stop them but will need help from Starfleet to take down the Terran Empire.
TFO[]
- The TFO “Assault on Terok Nor” has received a total revamp, rebranded with the title "Forged in Fire". This revamp includes new mechanics and utilizes the revamped Deep Space 9 interior created for Victory is Life. Rae-Yeet is also now a mission handler during the course of the TFO.
Special Event[]
- This season was released alongside the "Heart of the Storm" 30-day Special Event.
- Completing the event will unlock the Kuumaarke Visionary 4-piece ground set.
- Completion of the event requires 20 Progress Points. These points are earned from a set of Terran-themed activities, including various additions from Season 24 and Season 25:
- Completing episodes: “Firewall”, “Red Shift”, “Blue Shift”, “The Calling” gives 1 Progress.
- Completing TFOs: “Counterpoint”, “Forged in Fire”, “Operation Wolf”, “Iuppiter Iratus” gives 1 Progress.
- 1 Progress can be earned once every 20 hours.
- This event has a Buyout option that costs at maximum 6000 Zen which scales with current progress in the event. Each day of progress lowers the price by 300 Zen.
- Once the main event is complete, earning progress every day gives a scaling Dilithium Reward. See the Special Event page for more info.
