Sh'marois is a female Andorian and captain of the U.S.S. Hofmann in 2410. She was instrumental in the creation of the Paul Stamets hologram who would help navigate the Alliance officer into the Mycelial network.

“Beneath the Skin”: The Hofmann, alongside the L.S.S. Reskava and Andorian defense fleet, participates in defense of Andoria against J'Ula and her Klingon forces. When J'Ula uses her weapon to open a rift to the Mycelial network, Sh'marois is the one who suggests creating a hologram of Paul Stamets, a famed astromycologist from the mid-23rd century, to help them navigate it. She manages to gain access to classified Starfleet records on Stamets and his work, using what appears to be Section 31 clearance.
