The Soliton Wave Impeller is an Experimental Weapon for starships. This experimental weapon channels Soliton Radiation waves at your target, dealing damage upfront with a chance for additional damage over time. Additionally, all hits with this weapon will slow the target. The rate at which this weapon fires increases with your engine power.

It may be upgraded like a standard weapon, swapped out for another Experimental Weapon and placed in any other starship's Experimental Weapon Slot.

It is obtainable from the Risian corvette (T6), and can be equipped on any starship capable of utilizing Experimental Weapons.

Gear Upgrade

Experimental Weapons can be upgraded using the Beam Weapons Tech Upgrades, Cannon Weapons Tech Upgrades or assorted Universal Tech Upgrades. It will receive an additional modifier on successful quality improvement:
