The massive Son'a Collector Science Dreadnought was originally constructed as a stationary, purpose-built technology platform, intended to convert and collect the metaphasic radiation found near the Ba'ku homeworld within the Briar Patch. Since that time, the ship has been refitted with all of the necessary weapons, engines and other subsystems, to allow this formidable piece of technology to function as a dreadnought within the Son'a fleets. It still possesses the energy-absorption technology it was originally built to use, as well as now housing a wing of fighter pets, its own weapons arrays, and much more.
Since the days of the infamous Briar Patch Incident, the Son'a have earned the reputation as being outcasts of the Alpha Quadrant. Despite this reputation, there's no denying that the Son'a remain at the forefront of medical technology, as well as being in possession of incredibly powerful sensor and energy absorption technology. Using these advancements on their vessels makes them formidable foes, capable of outmaneuvering and debilitating most of their enemies.

The Son'a Collector Science Dreadnought comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Thermolytic Injector].
This ability is part of the Son'a Technology Set, which also includes the [Console - Universal - Subspace Barrier Agitator] and [Console - Universal - Deep Analytics Sensor]. These consoles are obtainable from the Son'a Intel Battlecruiser, and the Son'a Command Science Vessel. For each item added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
Deploy Consumption Array

After absorbing certain amount of energy damage, it will unleash a burst of Radiation Damage in a forward 90 arc and restore portion of hull capacity to self.
Son’a Collector Science Dreadnought comes equipped with one wing of Son'a Assault Fighters.

Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
The Son'a Collector Science Dreadnought comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.

As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.35 for the Son'a Collector Science Dreadnought), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
