The Son'a Command Science Vessel is a Tier 6 Science Vessel which may be flown by characters of any faction. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T6 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. It can also drop from the older [Son'a Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Son'a Command Science Vessel [T6]].
This ship could also be purchased as an account-unlock from the Zen Store as a possible choice from the Mudd's In Command Choice Pack as part of "Mudd's Market", available from November 24th, 2021. Like all items in the Market, the Bundle periodically goes on massive discounts (upwards of 50% during special promotional sales).

Universal consoles[ | ]
The Son'a Command Science Vessel comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Deep Analytics Sensor Package].
This console is part of the Son'a Technology Set, which also includes the [Console - Universal - Subspace Barrier Agitator]. This console is obtainable with the Son'a Intel Battlecruiser, but can also be equipped on the Son'a Command Science Vessel. For each item added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
Inspiration Abilities
The Son'a Command Science Vessel features special Inspiration Abilities. Every time one of the team members activates a bridge officer ability, player gains an Inspiration point. When the player's Inspiration meter is full, the following abilities become available:
Sensor Analysis[]
Sensor Analysis is an active toggle ability. While maintaining a Sensor Lock on a target, the player gains a stacking effect that either improves the damage and power drain against an enemy, or improves any heal directed towards an ally. This effect stacks every 3 seconds, to a maximum of 6 stacks after 18 continuous seconds. To maintain the desired effect, the player must hold the sensor lock.
Subsystem Targeting[]
The Son'a Command Science Vessel comes with built-in Subsystem Targeting abilities. These built-in abilities stay at Rank I and do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Science starships. They are separate from Subsystem Targeting abilities gained through Tactical Space Bridge officer abilities.
- Target Auxiliary Subsystems I
- Target Weapons Subsystems I
- Target Engines Subsystems I
- Target Shields Subsystems I
Activating a subsystem targeting ability will upgrade all energy weapons to inflict a stacking power drain on the foe's targeted subsystem for the next 10 seconds. They will also have a small chance to knock the targeted subsystem offline for a short duration.
Specialization seating
The Son'a Command Science Vessel features the following specialist seats:
- Commander Science/Command
- Lieutenant Universal/Intelligence
