Overview
A Special Task Force mission (sometimes referred to as a Raidisode and abbreviated to STF) is an episode that is classified as raid content and has a five-man requirement. Special Task Force missions are end-game content and are restrictied to characters that have achieved the Rear Admiral or Brigadier General grade 5 rank. Enemies fought in STFs range between levels 45 and 47. Although only five-man content, they cannot be completed by yourself and your away team and require five players.
The term Raidisode was thought up by Cryptics Content Designer Dan "Gozer" Griffis as an in-house name to describe raid based episodic content. He also stated that there are talks to create 10-man and 25-man Raidisode content, although their future depends on how well the 5-man content does. [1].
Special Task Force was the official name given to these types of missions.
