Non-Baryonic Matter Deflector[ | ]
- (Improves Shield Healing)
Available through the Reputation system by advancing the Discovery Legends branch to Tier 2.
Game Description[ | ]
The Non-Baryonic Matter Deflector Array supports a standard deflector with an exotic matter array. This array creates localized gravitational phenomenon that subtly distort space both within the warp field and at impulse speeds. This allows it to act both as an additional focus for the deflector output and as a measure of last resort against incoming torpedoes.
It provides a substantial boost to Hull Capacity and Shield Capacity, and Shield Restoration. It also adds Damage Resistance against all Torpedo damage based on the Hull Integrity of the ship.
Upgrades[ | ]
Deflectors can be upgraded using the Science Tech Upgrades or assorted Universal Tech Upgrades. This item will receive an additional modifier on successful quality improvement:

Mycelial Wave-Impulse Engines[ | ]
- +150.1 Flight Speed
- Diverts all power to engines
Available through the Reputation system by advancing the Discovery Legends branch to Tier 3.
Game Description[ | ]
Combat Engines are designed to provide maneuverability at low power, giving them the most thrust capability at low power levels. They are consequently less able to fully utilize large power supplies, resulting in a low maximum speed and minimal gains from increasing power to engines.
This Impulse Engine has been modified to propagate a wave of Mycelial energy, speeding the ship's movements at sub-warp. The chaotic nature of combat disrupts the wave too much for it to enhance speed during combat, but in this new state it can be harnessed by the ship's shields instead.

Tilly's Review-Pending Modified Shield[ | ]
- (10% Bleedthrough)
Available through the Reputation system by advancing the Discovery Legends branch to Tier 5.
Game Description[ | ]
This shield was modified by an enterprising engineer in ways which have not technically passed safety inspections, as the gear used to conduct them typically does not survive the attempt. It uses complex adaptive algorithms to handle a much noisier, dissonant shield harmonic than usual. As the field's resting state is significantly less ordered than a typical field, it is far more resistant to disruption by enemy weapons fire. Further, its castoff energy causes destructive interference in enemy shield systems, weakening their ability to resist damage more and more as the amount of energy fed to the system increases.
