Starship Separation

Starship Separation is an ability whereby a player or NPC starship can separate into two or more autonomous units. The player commands one, while the other units fight alongside the player as pets. Its name varies depending on its usage but usually relies on a special console.

If the [Console - Universal - Antimatter Spread] is equipped, the separated starship section can make use of the Antimatter Spread ability.

Available from the Galaxy Exploration Cruiser Retrofit, Ross Legendary Command Exploration Cruiser, or Legendary Galaxy Dreadnought Cruiser.

Saucer Separation: The Saucer Section detaches and the drive section is given a weapon and damage boost vs a loss of hull and shields. Usable on all Tier 5 or greater Galaxy-class variants:

NPC Federation Galaxy Class Cruisers and Terran Galaxy Class Cruisers also have access to this ability.

Multi-Vector Assault Mode: The starship splits into three sections, with the player commanding the section of their choosing. Each section has a bias towards either tactical, operations or science. Usable on:

NPC Federation Prometheus Class Escorts and Terran Prometheus Class Escorts have access to this ability.

D'Kyr-class Tal'Kyr-class Support Craft[ | ]

Launch Support Craft 1 — Tak'Kyr Support Craft

Built into the D'Kyr Science Vessel.

Launch Support Craft: Detaches the auxiliary Vulcan ship from the D'Kyr Science Vessel, where it serves in a support role to repair damage and divert enemy attention.

Available from the Jem'Hadar Vanguard Carrier.

Summon Heavy Attack Craft: The heavy attack craft from the aft portion of the Vanguard Carrier detaches, with the player-controlled upper portion gaining increased maneuverability, but reduced hull and shield HP. The universal console can be equipped on ay starship; if equipped on a ship other than the Vanguard Carrier, this ability will call the same NPC ally to warp in instead, without altering your ship's durability or maneuverability.

Elachi Sheshar Assault Craft[ | ]

Available from the Elachi Sheshar Command Dreadnought Cruiser or Elachi Sheshar Intel Dreadnought Cruiser.

Deploy Sheshar Assault Craft: The assault craft from the bottom portion of the Sheshar Dreadnought detaches, with the player-controlled upper portion gaining increased turn rate and weapons power, but reduced hull HP and shields power.

If equipped on a different Elachi starship class, this ability will summon a S'golth Escort ally instead. Usable on:
