Stealth is a hidden ship statistic used with various cloaking abilities to become invisible to other ships. Stealth is countered by Perception. As described in the Starship Stealth skill unlock, the distance at which a ship can see through Stealth uses the following formula.
Perception - Stealth / 50 = km
