In Star Trek Online, Swarmer can refer to four different, though similarly scaled, NPCs;
- Idran Swarmer: cosmozoans encountered in the Idran System (Gamma Quadrant) encountered only within “Operation Gamma”.
- Swarmer: an Iconian ground NPC first fought in “Sphere of Influence”.
- Obelisk Swarmers: related to the Iconian swarmer, these are Hangar Pets for the Obelisk Carrier first encountered in “Sphere of Influence”. See also;
