Players can obtain this starship by completing the Romulan Republic faction tutorial. All players may purchase it from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 1,000 .
The T'liss-class Light Warbird is the fastest, lightest, and most maneuverable Warbird class available. Like all Romulan ships, it comes equipped with a cloaking device. As a quick and mobile vessel, the T’liss may appeal to players who enjoy flying Raiders.
Its design dates back to the 23rd century, where one served as the flagship of the Romulan Star Empire. They are relatively simplistic in design, and feature a unique paint scheme depicting a bird of prey on the underside. Although a very basic ship, the T'liss is versatile and maneuverable.

Romulan Tutorial Starship is an old T'liss-class Warbird captained by Commander Malem prior to settling on Virinat. While the ship's plating has worn off, D'Vex has kept it in a working shape, allowing a few Virinat citizens to use it to escape the Tal Shiar attack in 2409.
The T'liss Light Warbird doesn't come equipped with any universal consoles.
However, it can equip [Console - Universal - Singularity Stabilizer] and [Console - Universal - Plasma Destabilizer] which form the Enhanced Projectile Efficiency Set. These consoles are obtainable with T'varo Light Warbird (T1) and T'varo Light Warbird Retrofit (T5). For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
The T'liss-class Light Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
As a Romulan Warbird, the T'liss-class Light Warbird comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Romulan Warbirds come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.
