Any chance someone could get some high-res images of the STF armours? --Walshicus 19:33, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Should the new Oddesy 'set' be part of this, or do you think it should go elsewhere? cra88y

The consoles that come on the new Odyssey and Bortasqu' cruisers constitute 2 new sets, and yes, they probably should be noted here. —Dr Ishmael User Dr ishmael Diablo the chicken 02:46, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Set Naming[]

Could we please pay closer attention to the in-game names of these sets? What was listed as the 'Tactical Warbird Set' is actually called 'Enhanced Plasma Infusion' in-game. I've corrected that one but I have my eye on other mis-named sets here too. (D'deridex Set, Mogai Set etc).

I would suggest the following:

  1. Name the set and related article as it is named in-game. This name can be found on each set item's tooltip. ie: "Part of set xyz (1/3)". We can create redirect pages for alternate names pointing to the properly named article.
For example the "Dhelan Console Set" page should be moved to Enhanced Defensive System with a redirect from any alternate names. If you primarily fly the Dhael Warbird, you may not think to search for "Dhelen Console Set" but might try to search for the set by its actual name.
  2. We should avoid appending "Set" to the end of article names. It's redundant. The only exception would be where it forms part of the actual in-game name eg: "Jem'Hadar Space Set".

Consistency is the key here. We want these articles to be easy to find, and for that they should be consistent with the in-game names. Alternative or "common" names can be catered for with redirects, pointing to the properly named article.

Splitting the page[]

I'm not sure, but it seems the page is too large and half of the icons won't load. Maybe we should split it into several different pages. --PiralDorrm (talk) 16:03, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
