Pve queue

The PvE queue UI

The PvE Queue was originally introduced in Season 4 as a way to find other players to join in for fleet actions. For Season 7 the UI of the queue menu was revamped and expanded [1] to include Special Task Force missions and PvE group events. They can be accessed by clicking the PvE Queues button on the bottom of the navigation menu or by clicking the PvE thumbnail in the Mission Journal.

Mission types and rewards

The PvE queue offers group content of two different basic types: "Fleet actions" and "Events/STFs" (not to be confused with Calendar events). Contrary to the name, players involved in a fleet action do not have to be part of the same fleet or of any fleet at all. Events taking place around a fleet starbase, however, can only be accessed if the player is in a fleet.

Both, fleet actions as well as events, may either be ground or space combat missions involving 5, 10 or up to 20 players (see PvE queue table), but differ in their reward structure.

Fleet actions

“The Big Dig”

Fleet actions are group missions, at the end of which each player is rewarded Dilithium Dilithium Ore icon (480 for space fleet actions, 640 for ground). Players who have contributed the most (e.g., most damage dealt/taken) are also rewarded with items. Finishing in first place gets a random Very Rare item (as well as the accolade and trophy, if not already obtained), second and third place gets a random Rare item, and all other players get a random Uncommon item.

There is a daily mission for a different fleet action each day (every 20 hours). It rewards 960 dilithium Dilithium Ore icon and 50 Fleet Marks Fleet Marks and can be obtained from Lieutenant B'Mera for Klingon players and Admiral Grigori Yanishev for Federation players.

Events & STFs

"Event"-type group missions (not to be confused with calendar events) and Special Task Force (STF) missions are group missions (usually with a normal, advanced and an elite version) rewarding fleet marks Fleet Marks and/or reputation marks for one or more specific factions as well as dilithium Dilithium Ore icon (480 for normal; 720 for advanced; 1440 for elite).

Queues

Public Queues

Public queues are the first menu seen (Quick Play tab). To queue up, select the fleet action and press the Join Queue button on bottom right. Queues are split by rank:

  • Levels 3-9
  • Levels 10-19
  • Levels 20-29
  • Levels 30-39
  • Levels 40-49
  • Levels 50-59
  • Level 60

Private Queues

PvE Queue FA Private

Fleet Action private queue

Private queues can be created (with an optional password) that can hold up to four teams of 5 (20 players) and requires five players to start. To do so, click the Create Private tab and then the map you wish to use (you can change it later), then Create and type in a game name and (optional) password.

You can join a private queue by clicking Join Existing tab and private queues will be those with a name other than "<Map Name> Fleet Action".

The fleet actions require a certain level to be unlocked and cannot be played below that level. The queues can also be sorted based on ground, space, public private, unlocked, and locked.
