Item description: This device is extremely sophisticated and exhibits signs of recent chroniton flux. An activation plate is clearly visible on the front panel, and a slight pulsing hum indicates that its power source is still fully functional. It awaits activation.

Activating this device will allow you to send Duty Officers on a single Time Travel assignment, garnering large commendation experience rewards. If the mission is a success, you may also receive the opportunity to recruit additional officers to join your Duty Officer Roster.

**You must have access to the Duty Officer system in order to activate this item. ( Level 11)

Temporal Beacon item description:

This device is extremely sophisticated and exhibits signs of recent chroniton flux. Activating it results in the holographic display of a being that appears human but is dressed very strangely. He speaks the following message:

"My name is Drimex. I am a member of an elite Temporal Investigations Unit from your distant future that has run afoul of nefarious forces that are attempting to thwart our efforts to repair the effects of key temporal incursions. Contained within this device is a mission briefing for an assignment too dangerous for us to undertake ourselves, as our ranks have been compromised by our enemies. This beacon - and many like it - have been sent out into the time streams in hopes of recruiting brave and steadfast individuals willing to perform these missions on our behalf. Good luck. Tempus Fugit."
