Overview[]
The enemies of the Terran Empire know they are always watched, but when it's the Eagle doing the watching their time is almost over. A specialist stealthy torpedo vessel, the Eagle excels at slipping into enemy ranks, identifying priority targets, and annihilating them before vanishing into the debris. Little information about the Eagle is available in the free worlds of the Terran Empire's home universe, but it's been seen firsthand by a huge number of enemy personnel. Alas, most were unable to pull breath for speech, let alone find working comms tumbling in the vacuum, and so the Eagle's reputation remains one of mystery.

Pilot Maneuvers
Pilot ships can perform a sudden maneuver in each horizontal direction: Forward, Backward, Left or Right. Executing each maneuver will rapidly reposition your starship while granting very brief damage immunity, but costs all available thruster fuel which takes several seconds to recover.
Enhanced Battle Cloak
The Terran Eagle-class Pilot Raider has an enhanced battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking. The enhanced cloak also allows the use of mines, torpedoes, and most Bridge Officer and Captain abilities while remaining cloaked.
Raider Flanking
Frigates, Light Escorts, Raiders, and Scout Ships come with a built-in passive damage boost available when striking an enemy's rear arc. To support their high turn rate and maneuverability, standard raider flanking grants:
- +33% damage to NPC enemy when attacking rear arc.
- +11% damage to Player enemy when attacking rear arc.
Experimental Weapon[]
The Terran Eagle-class Pilot Raider comes with an Experimental Weapon slot. This additional slot does not fit standard weapons. Unlike standard starship weapons, Experimental weapons are not affected by weapon firing modes, such as those granted by bridge officer abilities.
This vessel comes equipped with the [Subspace Depth Charge]. Subspace Depth Charges are simple but effective. The projectile is highly charged and nearly unguided, relying on very simple maneuvering thrusters to position itself in the subspace wake of its target; from there, the target's own forces do all the work. When the projectile detonates, the target suffers significant Tetryon emissions throughout the ship, increased by the Auxiliary subsystem power of the attacking ship. Because the weapon system is so similar to a torpedo, it may be used during certain types of Cloaking the same way torpedoes can.
Specialization seating
The Terran Eagle-class Pilot Raider features the following specialist seats:
Standard configuration[]
Terran starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Hull strength[]
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.05 for the Terran Eagle-class Pilot Raider), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
