The Other
Location(s):
Mirror Universe

The Other, also known as C'qer (pronounced 'Seeker') - formerly known as Conqueror VI - is the Mirror Universe counterpart of the entity known as V'Ger, a massive artificial lifeform evolved from an old Earth probe, with the mission to seek out new worlds to conquer. V'ger sought to merge with their creator to reach a new stage of existence. The Other, on the other hand, seeks to destroy their creator for abandoning them.

Missions involved[]

  • ALL “The Calling”: Ilia warns that the Terran Empire is seeking The Other and aims to control them. Towards the end of the mission, The Other arrives over mirror Pahvo causing the Alliance and Coalition forces to flee.
  • ALL “Eye of the Storm”: The Other is still present over mirror Pahvo, as is the Terran fleet. While an Alliance fleet by the U.S.S. Enterprise battles the Terrans, the I.S.S. Acheron, under the command of the Emperor, flies to the center of the cloud and beams down a strike team. The team is successful in overcoming the Other's resistance, and the Emperor joins with the Other, causing the Alliance fleet to retreat back to the Prime universe. The Other then transitions to the Prime universe and digitizes Pahvo.
  • ALL “The Fujiwhara Effect”: The Other arrives on the edge of the Sol System and begins their assault. The Other overwhelms the forces at Jupiter, digitizing Jupiter, Jupiter Station, and the I.K.S. Bortasqu' before moving onto Mars, digitizing the planet, Mars Station and its surroundings, including the R.R.W. Lleiset. As the Other attempts to digitize Earth Spacedock, V'Ger arrives and launches a counterattack. An Alliance strike team enters The Other to unlink Emperor Crusher from them. After successfully doing this, the Ilia construct and V'Ger recognise The Other - now known as C'Qer - as similar to V'Ger before their digitization of Decker in the centuries' past, and both entities depart Sol on a mission of discovery, with Ilia and Crusher aboard. During this, C'Qer also returns the digitized planets and ships back to their respective locations.
