The Thrai-class Dreadnought Warbird is a Tier 6 Warbird Battlecruiser / Dreadnought Warbird hybrid which may be flown by Romulan Republic characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship as a ultra rare drop from the [Infinity Lock Box]; it comes in an [Infinity Prize Pack - T6 Ship] choice package, which is bound to you until a ship is chosen. It can also drop from the older [Undiscovered Lock Box]. The boxed ship is not bound and so may be traded to other players or bought and sold on the Exchange for energy credits under the name [Special Requisition Pack - Thrai Dreadnought Warbird [T6]], as well as under [Special Requisition Pack - TOS Dreadnought Starship (T6)] and [Special Requisition Pack - 23rd Century Tier 6 Undiscovered Dreadnought]. The choice box's contents depend on the player's faction; Romulan Republic players will receive the Thrai Dreadnought Warbird when opening it.
Overview
The final years of the 23rd century were a time of great turmoil for the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans. Many advanced technologies were developed during this time period, some of which are still serviceable today. This time period also saw many shocking scientific discoveries, some of which are still not fully understood. Each faction has found that some of these technologies, including the dreadnoughts of the era, can be re-purposed for today’s conflicts. Seeing the potential for profit, the Lobi Crystal Consortium has agreed to help update the technology of yesteryear… for the right price.
The vessel of choice for Romulan flag officers in the 23rd century, the Thrai-class Dreadnought Warbird has been updated to join the Republic naval order of battle in the current day.
Class variants
Class | Information |
---|---|
SKIN UNLOCK: Free The Thrai class bridges the design gap between the T'liss class of the 23rd and D'deridex class of the 24th century. The Thrai's warp nacelles and saucer section match those seen on the T'liss Light Warbird, but the ship also features a dual-wing configuration, the main trademark of the D'deridex Battlecruiser. |

Abilities
Hangar bay
The Thrai Dreadnought Warbird comes equipped with a single wing of Kaleh Fighters.
Kaleh Fighters are armed with Dual Heavy Plasma Cannon and Plasma Torpedo Launchers, and can use Lock Trajectory I.
The Advanced variant of the Kaleh Fighters can be obtained from the Dilithium Store, while the Elite variant is obtainable from the Fleet Starbase with unlocked Tier V Communications Array.
Carrier commands
- Carrier Command - Attack
- Carrier Command - Escort
- Carrier Command - Intercept
- Carrier Command - Recall
Battle Cloak
The Thrai-class Dreadnought Warbird has a battle cloak that allows the ship to cloak during combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.
Singularity
As a Romulan Warbird, the Thrai-class Dreadnought Warbird comes with built-in Singularity abilities. These abilities do not automatically rank up when acquiring higher tier Warbirds. These powers build in severity based on the charge built up by the ship's Singularity Core.
Specialization seating
The Thrai-class Dreadnought Warbird features the following specialist seats:
- Lieutenant Commander Tactical/Temporal Operative
- Lieutenant Engineering/Command
Universal consoles
The Thrai Dreadnought Warbird comes equipped with the [Console - Universal - Secondary Shield Projector].
This ability is part of the Synergistic Retrofitting Set, which also includes [Console - Universal - Dynamic Power Redistributor Module] and [Console - Universal - Disruption Pulse Emitter], obtainable from the [Console Pack - Dynamic Power Redistributor Module / Disruption Pulse Emitter (Romulan)], and [Console - Universal - Point Defense Bombardment Warhead], obtainable from the Lobi Crystal Consortium Store, but also equippable on the Thrai Dreadnought Warbird. For each console added after the first, an additional passive bonus is unlocked.
Standard configuration
Romulan starships come with standard equipment and weapons of the lowest mark available at the ship's minimum rank. The items provided are appropriate to the type of vessel and its related playing style.

Scaling starship
This starship's equipment slots, base hull capacity and shield capacity scale as your level increases.
Equipment slots and seating
As you rank up every 10 levels, up to level 40, the ship's forward weapon slots, aft weapon slots, tactical console slots, engineering console slots, science console slots and available bridge officer (boff) abilities will slowly increase toward endgame capabilities:
Hull strength
This table shows how the ship's hull strength scales at each level. The base hull of all scaling starships is 10,000, which is then multiplied by the ship's hull modifier (1.45 for the Thrai-class Dreadnought Warbird), and then multiplied by the scaling multiplier below at each level.
