The Toron-class Shuttle is a Tier 1 (Level 1) Small Craft which may be flown by Klingon Defense Force characters, including Klingon Empire-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store.

Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 34,250 .

Overview

The Toron-ckass Shuttle is lightly armed, fast and maneuverable. It is the standard shuttlecraft assigned to KDF vessels and starbases.

The Toron-class Shuttle has a cloak that allows the ship to cloak when not in combat, granting stealth and a damage bonus upon decloaking.

Innate ability

The Toron Shuttle comes with a built-in Jam Sensors. It can be used even without a Science bridge officer assigned.

Standard configuration

Klingon shuttles come with Standard Issue-S equipment and weapons that scale with the player. Additionally, shuttles have specialized beam arrays that have a 360-degree targeting arc. These cannot be equipped on any other type of vessel.

Notes

• Toron-class shuttles have appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation. On December 21, 2012, the class was redesigned to make it more on par with the Federation Danube Class Runabout. The original model of the Toron is now used by the Kivra class Shuttle.
• A non-combat pet [Klingon Empire Toron Shuttle] was made available from testing Season 3 on Tribble.
