Transphasic Mines
Deploy Mines: Kinetic Damage with 80% Bonus Shield Penetration

Transphasic Mine Launchers drop a series of automatic mines. When a hostile targets gets close, the mines will activate and chase the target before detonating with a heavy kinetic damage blast. Shields drastically reduce the effects of kinetic damage. They are not affected by Weapon Power.

Transphasic Mine Launchers deal average damage with a long recharge and have increased shield penetration.

Shield Penetration[]

The 80% shield penetration bonus works by reducing the innate penetration resistance of shields. The penetration resistance is 90% for most shields, and it will be reduced to 18% against transphasic mines, which is equivalent to a bleedthrough of 82%. For resilient shields, the bleedthrough will be 83%.

Performance[]

Modifiers[]

Uncommon Transphasic Mine Launcher will have one modifier suffix, Rare will have two, Very Rare will have three, and Ultra Rare will have four. Epic adds a fifth unique modifier.

Standard Modifiers: Can appear multiple times (e.g. [Dmg]x2, [CrtH]x3, [CrtD]x4 etc)

  • CrtD: +20 Critical Severity
  • CrtH: +2% Critical Chance
  • Dmg: +X Damage

Special Crafted Modifiers: These modifiers can appear once on crafted Transphasic Mine Launcher of Rare quality and higher:

  • Pen: All attacks with this weapon ignore 10 Armor Rating
  • Snare: To Foe: -5% Speed and Turn Rate on Hit.
  • Thrust: +5% Speed and Turn Rate when firing.

Epic Modifier: All mine launchers upgraded to Epic quality receive:
