Tricobalt Mine Launchers are a type of Ship Weapon. Tricobalt Mine Launchers drop a series of automatic mines. When a hostile targets gets close, the mines will activate and chase the target before detonating with a heavy kinetic damage blast. Shields drastically reduce the effects of kinetic damage. They are not affected by Weapon Power.

Modifiers
Uncommon Tricobalt Mine Launchers will have one modifier suffix, Rare will have two and Very Rare will have three. These suffix bonuses can be multiples of themselves; for example, instead of a very rare item having [Acc] [CrtD] [CrtH], it may well just have [CrtH]x3, which would increase critical chance by 6%. It could also have two of the same modifier, plus one of another.
Along with suffix modifiers, Tricobalt Mines are also affected by the following:

- Creates a level X Tricobalt Mine for 61 sec
X is equal to the Mark level of the Mine Launcher, times 5 (f/ex. Mx X launchers generate level 50 mines)
The Tricobalt mine also has a second non-directed attack type - after the mine's timeout expires, the mine detonates where it is at that time, with full force (as if it had hit a target).
